We headed up north to the county of Northumberland, situated in the North East of England. Our trip lasted 4 days and each day was started with a very early morning hike with the reward of a waterfall at the end of it. I personally think that every day should start like this, alas we, living in the South East of England, don’t really have waterfalls at all.

Knole Park is a 1000-acre site and is Kent’s last medieval deer park with over 350 free-roaming fallow and sika deer. We’d come here early in the morning for sunrise and watch the mist rise over the hills, capture the beauty of the graceful deer roaming on the land and wander through the woods.

Wales
Recently seen on TV on BBC’s Wild Isles, which featured Sir David Attenborough, Skomer Island is a Welsh island inundated with wildlife. Known for having the largest breeding colony of puffins in Southern Britain, it’s a renowned wildlife paradise.
Our morning at Penmon Point was packed with wild beauty, wonderful sea views, and memories we’ll never forget. Standing on the pebbled beach, Brock squealed with excitement at the sight of a pod of dolphins swimming into the distance. The warmth from the soft sunrise, which was starting to rise above the mountains, hit our faces as we watched them glide through the water. Right at the same time, we met a pair of inquisitive seals by the shoreline with a cormorant following them from above.
The Island of Anglesey is a photographer’s dream. Filled with wonderful wildlife, a scenic coastline, and historical buildings, we can’t stop returning.
What’s more, our favourite things to do on the Island are free, which is always a bonus when it comes to traveling. A forest filled with rare red squirrels, a coastal path hugging the entire island, and surreal multicolored mountains is what’s in store for your next visit.
Appledore is a picturesque coastal village in North Devon. Once a thriving hub for fishing and trade, its character remains deeply influenced by the sea, with narrow streets, colorful cottages, and a charming waterfront.
